1. Agreement to Terms
Welcome to Shortfy.xyz. These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you") and Shortfy ("we," "us," or "our"), concerning your access to and use of our fast & smart URL shortener and link management platform.
By accessing our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Terms. If you do not agree with all of these terms, then you are expressly prohibited from using the site and must discontinue use immediately.
01Acceptable Use & Prohibited Activities
Shortfy provides a free and unlimited environment for digital creators. To maintain the integrity of our link management platform, users are strictly prohibited from using our services for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:
Phishing, malware, or ransomware distribution via redirections.
Spamming (SMS, Social Media, or Email) using shortened URLs.
Hosting or linking to child exploitation or non-consensual imagery.
Hate speech, harassment, or promotion of violent extremism.
Bypassing geographical restrictions or paywalls unfairly.
Using 'Botnets' or automated scripts to generate bulk links.
Deceptive redirections that mislead users about the final destination.
Attempting to reverse engineer or disrupt our Edge-computing infrastructure.
02Link Lifecycle & Termination
While we strive to provide permanent links, Shortfy reserves the right to manage our database for safety and efficiency. By using our branded shortcodes, you acknowledge that:
- Abuse Termination: Any link found to violate our safety guidelines will be disabled immediately. We may also ban the IP address or account associated with the violation.
- Inactive Links: We reserve the right to reclaim custom short URLs that have not received any traffic for a period exceeding 24 consecutive months.
- Modification: We may update the destination of a link if the target URL is flagged as malicious by third-party security providers (e.g., Google Safe Browsing).
03Intellectual Property & DMCA Compliance
Shortfy respects intellectual property rights. If you believe that any link on our platform infringes upon your copyright, please submit a Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) notice to our support team.
Users retain ownership of the original URLs they submit, but grant Shortfy a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and redirect said URLs for the purpose of providing the service.
04Service Disclaimer & Liability
Crucial Disclaimer:
"Shortfy.xyz is provided on an 'AS IS' and 'AS AVAILABLE' basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shortfy disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that our track clicks data will be 100% accurate or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free."
Shortfy, its directors, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the service, including loss of profits, data, or business reputation.
05Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Shortfy harmless from and against any claims, damages, costs, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of our free and unlimited tools or your violation of these Terms.
06Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and defined following the laws of Bangladesh 🇧🇩. Shortfy and yourself irrevocably consent that the courts of Bangladesh shall have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any dispute which may arise in connection with these terms.
